Venkata Krishna Rohit Sakala is a passionate and skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 4 years of experience in the field. He is currently working with SUSE as a Software Engineer, where he is responsible for building the SUSE Cloud Application Platform, a PaaS offering that brings together the best of Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes. He is also writing Kubernetes controllers to bring the PaaS experience of Cloud Foundry on top of Kubernetes. Venkata is highly interested in Cloud Computing and Distributed systems and is always looking for ways to improve his skills in these areas. Venkata has a Master's degree in Computer Science and Humanities from the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Humanities from the same institution. He has also completed his Board of Intermediate Education from Sri Chaitanya College and his Secondary School Certificate from MNR School of Excellence. Prior to his current role, Venkata worked as a Software Development Intern with The Linux Foundation, where he was part of The OpenMainFrame Project. His task was to run SUSE Cloud Foundry on Z, an IBM mainframe with s390x architecture. During his internship, he encountered many challenges due to the different architecture and difference in endianness. However, he was able to solve many of these issues and documented his findings. In addition to his work experience, Venkata is also a NIFTY Options Trader. He is a big fan of trains, BBT, and Naruto. Venkata's tech stack includes Software Engineering and Kubernetes. He is always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow in his field.
